Hailing from Derby, England, Lauren Socha crafted her acting skills at Ian Smith's Television Workshop in Nottingham. Catching the eye of talent agents and recruiters, she landed her first gig at the age of 15 in Arctic Monkey's video for their 2006 single "When the Sun Goes Down". The fiesty Gemini later starred in The Unloved in 2009, and shortly after auditioned for the role as Kelly Bailey in the hit UK series Misfits. Playing the fiery, tough-as-nails Kelly raked in a BAFTA award in 2011 for Best Supporting Actress.
Socha's acting talent ironically runs in the family. Her older brother, Michael Socha, is also an actor. HIDE
