Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Rebel Wilson is most famed for her breakthrough role in the blockbuster comedy Bridesmaids. As a former Youth Ambassador for Australia based in South Africa, her malaria-induced hallucinations of being an actress inspired her to pursue her acting career. Wilson attended the University of New South Wales, where she obtained a law degree in Law and Arts in 2009. She has made myriad appearances on television shows such as Rules of Engagement and Comedy Central's Workaholics. Most recently, Wilson starred in the film What to Expect When You're Expecting, and costars in Struck by Lightning with Glee's Chris Colfer, which premiered at the 2012 TriBeCa Film Festival. She will also lend her comedic appeal as Becky in Bachelorette and Fat Amy in the upcoming comedy film Pitch Perfect, both set to debut in Fall of 2012. HIDE
