Glamazon and Headmaster of Drag U, RuPaul is a multifaceted Drag performer, actor, singer, and  songwriter. Born in San Diego, California, he made his mark in the 1980's and early 1990's with humble origins in the nightclubs of Georgia and New York City.  Interchangeably (and flawlessly at that) he played roles as both male and female, being featured in such films as Crooklyn, To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, and Wigstock: The Movie to name a few. With five albums in his repertoire, RuPaul has also been known to crank out timeless dance club hits, such as "Supermodel (You Better Work)," and "House of Love" which topped Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Club Play charts. An award-winning superstar, RuPaul received three awards, which includes two GLAAD Media Awards and a NewNowNext Award. Today, you can find him fixing the tucks of his beloved proteges on his famed LOGO reality TV competition show RuPaul's Drag Race and making over women in RuPaul's Drag U.  HIDE
