Oh, Honey! Pete Buttigieg Doesn't Watch "RuPaul's Drag Race"

“That’s something my husband would be more attuned to than I would.”

At a recent town hall meeting at Bar Lubitsch, an establishment in L.A's West Hollywood neighborhood, out Democratic presidential candidate, Pete Buttigieg revealed that you probably won't catch him at a RuPaul's Drag Race viewing party anytime soon.

"I’ve seen it. I can’t say that I watch it very often," he told The Advocate, after the town hall. "That’s something [my husband] Chasten would be more attuned to than I would."

So if you want to see him on the campaign trail you probably should stick to asking him about the economy of foreign policy than his thoughts on RuPaul crowning two winners on All Stars Season 4. But seriously, who does he think will take home the crown on Drag Race Season 11? We have hard-hitting questions to ask.

The 37-year-old politician officially entered the presidential race this January, when he announced he was launching an exploratory committee to begin his run in the Democratic primary race. If he secures the party’s nomination, he’ll become the first openly gay Democrat to run for President of the United States.

But as he told the crowd at Bar Lubitsch, he wasn't always so proud of his sexuality:

"I don’t like admitting this, but there was a time in my life when I would have given anything not to be gay. If you would have given me a pill, I would have taken it," Buttigieg admitted to the audience. "Thank god there is no pill, because the best thing in my life is my marriage."

The South Ben mayor reached another milestone this weekend when he surpassed 65,000 campaign donors, officially securing an invite to the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) first debate for potential candidates in the 2020 presidential election.

Even though he doesn't watch we still think he would make a great guest judge for the next season of Drag Race.

RuPaul's Drag Race airs Thursdays at 9/8c on VH1.
