The crowd went wild Saturday as a woman got down on one knee to propose to her girlfriend, an on-duty police officer, during the London Pride parade, Metro reports.

The officer, identified online only as Dizzy, accepted Jane's proposal. Video of the special moment, which was shared on British Transport Police's official Twitter account, has quickly gone viral.

Another police officer who went viral last year after proposing to his boyfriend while on duty at London’s Pride parade recently said that he regrets publicly popping the question because of hateful and abusive messages that he later received.

About one million people attended this year's London Pride festivities, and more than 26,000 people took to the streets for the biggest march in the event's 45-year history.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan told the crowd, "We’ve had a horrible last few weeks. We’ve had terror, we’ve had tragedy. You know what? The best antidote to sorrow, the best antidote to sadness, to bereavement, to hatred, is Pride in London."

In another special London Pride moment, an on-duty policeman took a break to join a street band and play a surprise guitar solo for the receptive revelers.
