Pope Francis shocked the world last week when he became the first holy dude in a robe to say that maybe the Catholic church should cool it with their creepy obsession with the private lives of gays, and, as a result, Franny has made enemies with one of the loudest, yet somehow least daunting, groups in the world -- Republicans.
Because friends, God has not one, but two people through which to convey his message here on Earth: the Pope, and Republican politicians who live south of the Mason-Dixon line and are running for reelection.
Jon Stewart, who has always been there to break down the more ridiculous fights and feuds going on in the world, explored this senseless schism on The Daily Show last night.
