Take us home, Mj Rodriguez!
The transgender Pose star recently teamed up with queer YouTuber Michael Korte to sing “Home” on the latest installment of “One Take,” Korte’s intimate series of acoustic performances.
Rodriguez memorably sang “Home,” a highlight from the Broadway musical The Wiz, with co-star Billy Porter on Pose.

Focusing on gay and trans performers in New York City’s 1980s ballroom scene, Pose has made history with the most trans series regulars ever in an American scripted TV series. The production has also employed more than 100 trans actors, crew members, and consultants.
Rodriguez, who plays HIV-positive matriarch Blanca on the trailblazing FX series, got her start in musical theater, appearing in Rent and Runaways off-Broadway.
Ryan Murphy, who created Pose with Brad Falchuk and Steven Canals, is donating 100% of his profits from the series to various LGBT charities.
Pose has been renewed for a second season and will return in 2019.
