This Public Service Announcement About PrEP Is Sexy AF

"The PrEP Project" takes a NSFW look at gay sexual health.

PrEP has become an incredible tool to help prevent the spread of HIV, but an astonishing number of people still don't know about it—including too many gay men and health care providers, unfortunately.

Filmmaker Chris Tipton-King felt educational videos about PrEP were a little too sanitized, and tiptoe around bareback sex, so he created "The PrEP Project"—a four-part PSA promoting PrEP while giving a realistic (albeit explicit) peek at the sex lives of gay men. (Tipton-King actually made the videos as part of a film school assignment.)

HIV activist Eric Paul Leue narrates some pretty hot-and-heavy encounters, and discusses how PrEP has helped him tackle his utter hatred of condoms. Of course, promoting the use of PrEP exclusively is controversial, but both Leue and Tipton-King say it's unrealistic to expect people to use condoms every single time, and they wanted the video to reflect that. (And "The PrEP Project" does detail the risks of contracting other STIs that can occur from unprotected sex.)

PrEP Project

Whether or not you agree with all the messages in "The PrEP Project," it definitely grabs your attention and addresses the issue in a way that a lot of gay men relate to. All four parts have been combined into one video for your viewing pleasure.
