Yes, There Is An HIV-Positive Suitor On "Finding Prince Charming"

And...?

As reported in People, a suitor on Logo's reality dating series Finding Prince Charming is HIV-positive.

"It is true," host Lance Bass told the magazine. "This is one of the things I love about the show—it's a fun reality show, it's dramatic, but there's a lot of heart in it and amazing story lines... And one of those is finding about this guy's HIV."

Robert Sepúlveda Jr., the man at the center of FPC's search for love, says the suitors' status didn't affect how he related to them.

"Is someone HIV-positive not worthy of love?" said the 33-year-old interior designer. "That's really the question, and it doesn't matter to me. 'Prince Charming' would be accepting of anyone, and that's how I am."

The reality is we all need to think about awareness, prevention and treatment. And yes, some sexually active adults are HIV-positive. Some are race car drivers, some are school teachers, and some are on TV.
