Probiotic manufacturer Renew Life has launched a new campaign around the idea that life takes guts, and two of its new commercials contain a healthy dose of LGBT representation.

The first spot, called "Being Human Takes Guts," focuses on different aspects of life that require inner strength, and includes footage of a transgender woman.

"Swallowing your pride takes guts, saying who you voted for takes guts, getting married, getting divorced, getting old," the voiceover says. "Finding your happiness takes guts."

The second ad focuses on parenting taking guts, and features shots of gay fathers who adopted their child.

The spots are a great reminder that no matter what our differences may be, we're all just human beings in this life together. And that takes guts.
