Puerto Rican Paradise, Mya at Nashville Pride, A Rehoboth Institution Returns: Travel

There's no better time to book a trip to Puerto Rico—flights are surprisingly affordable right now, as more and more carriers announce routes to the Caribbean country.

Hotel La Concha in San Juan's beachfront Condado District s currently offering a package entitled #BeachPlease for travel beginning May 25 to December 15: Starting at just $186 a night, the #BeachPlease package includes ocean-view accommodations, daily breakfast buffet, drinks and DJs in the lobby, a six-pack beer bucket for the beach, and more.

Furry Friends

Want to meet someone tall, dark and hairy on your next vacation? Scruff’ has launched a new database that pinpoints the hairiest men in America.(Spoiler:  Everett, Washington, has the most hirsute fellas in the 50 states.)

If smooth is more your style, then head to Fayetteville, North Carolina, deemed the smoothest city in the states.

Cabin Fever

Next time you visit Portland, consider a stay at Noel and Patrick’s Basement Cabin. The couple is offering a cozy room in their basement in Mount Tabor, an up-and-coming neighborhood in Southeast PDX. The real game changer here, though, is their hospitality: The guys offer recommendations, invite you to join backyard pig roasts and soirees, and might even pick you up at the airport. (Practically unheard of elsewhere on AirB&B.)

Not surprisingly, their guests have nothing but kind words for the Noel and Patrick. "My only complaint is that we didn't spend more time with them," commented one visitor.

Starting at just $55 a night, you can get the stylish digs, friendliness and prime location for a steal.

Hellbent For Leather

Rehoboth Beach locals and queer tourists alike were disappointed last year when the Double L Bar, the resort town's only leather bar, was transformed into a more straight-accomodating Dive Bar.

Well, that short lived stint is over, and Double L reopened its doors as a gay club on May 16.

"We are shooting for a 2000- 2005 vibe, when the economy was good, music was good, we were all slightly younger and way hotter," the owners posted on Facebook. They've already brought back the popular ManDance on Saturday nights.

Pride Picks

Voulez-vous couches avec moi? R&B sensation Mýa headlines the Nashville Pride Festival at Nashville’s Public Square June 26 to 27. Also topping the weekend’s bill are St. Lucia, Australian rock duo The Veronicas, rapper Cazwell and Drag Race all-star Chad Michaels.
