Amanda Lepore, Lady Bunny, and Shequida Are Queens at the Yard

The legendary trio invite you to a fancy dinner theater experience.

After a year in sweatpants, it might be time to break out some fancier clothes, and what better excuse than a new dinner theater show starring some of New York City’s most legendary nightlife performers?

Queens at the Yard is a new immersive dinner happening at the appropriately named Queensyard in New York’s Hudson Yards. The theatrical experience will feature trio Amanda Lepore, Lady Bunny, and Shequida as they entertain —and in Bunny’s case, confuse — audiences as they dine on a two-course meal by renowned chef Brian Yuko. Get ready for a night of burlesque, opera, and comedy… and Bunny will be there too!

“We are thrilled to bring together these New York nightlife legends and the city’s most brilliant cabaret performers for a unique show unlike anything they have done before,” said event producer Brandon Voss. “Queens at the Yard will not only feature shows by its three legendary hosts, but also immersive performances and outrageous acts that will surprise and astound guests; and the food and event space are simply magnificent.”

Although we are all unpacking our tank tops and getting ready for a New York summer, Lady Bunny, who will be DJing post-dinner party, warns that this event is classy: “It’s cocktail attire, honey! Break out those sequins that have been collecting dust since March 2020. New York is back, and she is ready to shine!”

The new venue is welcome news as the city begins to re-open. To date, some 55% of New Yorkers have received at least the one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Bars in the city were recently allowed to resume bar seating, and restaurants will be able to reopen at full capacity on May 19.

Queens at the Yard will be held weekly on Fridays, beginning Friday, May 21. For more info on tickets and VIP packages, head over to the Voss Events site.
