The Fab Five Are Moving to Missouri for “Queer Eye” Season 3
A day after Queer Eye was nominated for four Emmy Awards—including Outstanding Structured Reality Program—Netflix has announced that the Fab Five will return for more makeovers by renewing the series for a third season.
Not only has a new season been announced, but the boys are moving locations as well. The first two seasons were set in Georgia since they were filmed at the same time, but production on Season 3 begins July 16, and the new batch of episodes will be filmed in—and around—Kansas City, Missouri.
The new season of Queer Eye is set to premiere on Netflix in 2019. In the meantime, tune in for the 70th annual Primetime Emmy Awards on September 17 to see if Queer Eye takes home any trophies—14 years after the original series won the Emmy for Best Reality Show.
