The "Queer Ghost Hunters" Return To Search For More Spirits In Season 2

The truth is out there, henny!

Who doesn't love a good ghost story or a scary movie? But while you were being spooked did you ever think about the spirit's sexuality?

Well, the Queer Ghost Hunters did so they embarked on a search for LGBT ghosts trapped in haunted sites in the web series' first season.

Now the team of LGBT paranormal investigators are back for a second season where they will explore more creepy locations, like the Ohio State Reformatory—where The Shawshank Redemption was shot—and more than 50 young men were sent after they were convicted of sodomy.

“Season 2, while lot’s of fun also digs up amazing hidden history of lost LGBTQ lives in this incredible setting,” says the shows Executive Producer, Joseph Applebaum.

The new season will premiere during Pride Month on June 23, the day after the first season makes its film festival debut at the Frameline Film Festival in San Francisco.

“This season we keep all those laughable moments side-by-side with the team discovering real stories that are fascinating and have really tugged at our hearts,” said series director Stu Maddux.

Even though it might not be Halloween season yet, it's never too early to watch this docu-series that follows real people discovering stories of the queer past—even if it's through ghosts.

But watch it with the lights on, of course.
