As a rule we always say it's a bad idea to get too close to wild animals. But one fit beachgoer made a connection with a really friendly wabbit... er, rabbit,

Liran Kraus of Tel Aviv posted this video of her husband, Erez, making snuggles with a bunny while they were on honeymoon in Thailand.

Most commenters remarked how adorable the scene was—though some, like us, were more focused on Erez than the hare.

"Okay, I'm guilty here," said one commenter. "I know I should be looking at the rabbit, but... LOL"

Another thought it was probably a former pet.

"Wild rabbits will never be that social. That is a satin rex. It is a breed of domestic rabbit, and was most likely dumped there by a terrible person who didn't want to take care of it anymore."

Maybe Erez brought his new friend home?
