In a historic landslide vote, Ireland became the first country to legalize gay marriage by popular vote. And while rainbow flags were hung around Dublin to show same-sex support, actual rainbows began appearing in the sky yesterday.

And then on Saturday morning, as the final votes were still being tallied, even more rainbows started to appear!

The country is overall known for being strongly Catholic, a fact that had some worried about the results of the vote. But many took to Twitter suggesting that the rainbows appearing were Jesus' way of casting his vote as well.
