"Drag Race" Season 3 Winner Raja Marries Husband In Surprise Wedding

The couple have been together for a year.

Raja, you're a winner, baby.

The RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3 winner revealed that he got married late last week to his boyfriend, Ryan Turner, who he had been dating for a year. The two tied the knot in a surprise wedding in Norwalk, California.

“We did the City Hall thing. It all happened very rapidly,” Raja (real name: Sutan Amrull) told Hornet. “We decided a long time ago that we were gonna do it. We pretty much knew from the get go that we were gonna marry each other. We just decided one day, ‘Let’s just fucking do it.’ So we found out where to go, filled out all the right paperwork, and then decided to do it immediately.”

Raja met Ryan through Facebook three years ago, and at first the two were just friends, but when Raja played a gig in Toronto (where Ryan was living) they met face-to-face.

"I was going up an elevator — I was performing in the Toronto Library for a Pride event — and the doors opened. He was standing there, and I was like, ‘Oh my god, there’s that guy,’" Raja recalled.

The wedding might have been intimate and last minute, but there were some special guests: Raja's Heathers sisters, Delta Work and Manila Luzon.

"So I am married!!!! Yesterday was magical and I am floating today," Ryan wrote on Instagram when he posted photos from the ceremony.

In addition to winning the third season of Drag Race, Raja was the head makeup artist on America's Next Top Model for Cycles four through 12 and did Adam Lambert's makeup on his 2010 Glam Nation Tour. Raja was also the host for the most recent season of The Pit Stop, Logo's Drag Race recap show, and is the co-host on RuPaul's Drag Race Fashion Photo RuView.

The couple plans to honeymoon in Argentina.

Condragulations, Raja!
