Rapper Boosie Badazz: "TV Is Forcing Kids To Be Gay"

"If you wanna be gay, that’s your decision. That shouldn’t be put on a child who mind is not developed..."

We've heard all kinds of theories for what makes someone gay, from having an overbearing mother to growing up near power lines. But in a recent interview, rapper Boosie Badazz put the "blame" on television.

Talking with VladTV, the "Mind of a Maniac" singer laid out his theory:

They trying to make everybody fuckin’ gay... They’re putting it on our culture. They’re putting it everywhere. Gay stuff is everywhere. And I think they just trying to do it to make a monetary gain. They’re not doing it for the gays. They’re not really fans of the gays. They’re doing it for monetary gain, man. They trying to make money off these people, man. You got cartoons that have gays. On cartoons. Like these are kids. Let kids make they own decision if they wanna go that way... You’re forcing them to be gay.

The Louisiana musician insists he doesn't have anything against gay people, but is—wait for it—worried about the children. (Apparently, serving time for drug possession and first-degree murder makes you an expert on things that are dangerous for kids to be around.)

Badazz says he longs for the good old days.

“It wasn’t like that when I was coming up. The Ninja Turtles wasn’t kissing... If you wanna be gay, that’s your decision... That shouldn’t be put on a child who mind is not developed to think for their self anyway at that age. It shouldn’t be put on a child.

He predicted that, in ten years, "you gonna have damn near half the population gay...because of what they put on TV." Well, maybe if our pitch for a RuPaul's Drag Race cartoon gets picked up.

Most alarmingly, the Louisiana rapper said if one of his sons came out as gay, "I would slap his ass back straight."
