Raven-Symoné Reveals She Got Married in Quarantine

"I love you, Mrs. Pearman-Maday!"

It’s a Pride Month miracle.

Raven-Symoné revealed on Instagram that she and her partner Miranda Pearman-Maday got married in a secret backyard wedding. The 34-year-old actress had teased the good news earlier this week with an Instagram post of a glass of champagne.

“I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home,” Symoné posted on Instagram this morning. “I love you, Mrs. Pearman-Maday! Let’s tear this world a new asshole!”

In a separate post, the actress also thanked her loved ones for understanding why the ceremony “was so small,” presumably due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

Pearman-Maday celebrated the nuptials on her Instagram, too, sharing an adorable Boomerang of the newlyweds in their wedding attire.

“8pm,” she wrote. “My wife for life.”

As NewNowNext previously reported, Symoné opened up about her sexual orientation for the first time in an episode of The View from 2016. The actress—who got her start as a child actor in the late ’80s and early ’90s—has gone on to star in Raven’s Home, a spinoff of her hit television show That’s So Raven, which premiered in 2003 on Disney Channel and ran for four seasons.

Prior to tying the knot, Symoné and Pearman-Maday had kept their romance offline, according to Life & Style magazine.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
