Raven-Symoné Is Not Impressed With Mark Zuckerberg’s $45 Billion Contribution To Charity

"The View" co-host is not content with her $55 million net worth and wants the Facebook co-founder to help make her richer.

Another day, another off-kilter comment from The View’s resident “did she really just say that?” reigning queen, Raven-Symoné.

(A quick beat to acknowledge the fact that despite her penchant for word vomit, Raven-Symoné is good TV, likeable or not.)

During yesterday’s “Hot Topics,” the ladies discussed Facebook co-founder and chief executive Mark Zuckerberg’s decision to donate 99% of he and his wife’s Facebook shares (roughly $45 billion) to charity.

It’s an incredibly noble, unprecedented gesture of humanity. Many, including Whoopi Goldberg, have applauded his act of philanthropy.

Not Raven-Symoné, though.

“People are going to backlash me,” she began. “Wonderful for giving it to charity, um… can you share some with the Facebook people? Can you give me some shares? Because I know I spent money on Facebook somewhere… I’m going to need at least two points on that stock market.”

This coming from a woman who has been steadily employed (in Hollywood, no less) for the last 24 years of her mere 29 year life; a woman who’s estimated net worth is upwards of $55 million.

So just to recap: Raven-Symoné would rather Mark Zuckerberg help her rich behind than help people in actual need.

Can we get a “girl, bye”?
