Raven-Symone's very queer TV comeback continues: Her scene-stealing turn on Empire as Olivia, Jamal's baby mama, still has every gay trying to catch his breath.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Symoné gave some insight into her sketchy-ye-sympathetic character, and Empire creator Lee Daniels's mission to represent real LGBT issues:

I think that's what Lee Daniels does best: shining a light on stories and situations that society sweeps under the rug. People can live a long time in heterosexual relationships on the outside when they're actually homosexual on the inside. They may come out later in their years because they were afraid or they had no one to look up to to help them, and I think having this show helps.

On how Empire connects to her own sexuality, Symone said,  "I don't really want to be labeled either way, but I want people to understand what I'm talking about. Sex is fluid, and Jamal and Olivia did have sex once!"

While we learn that Lola is not, in fact, Jamal and Olivia's love child, we hope we see Olivia sashaying into the next season, even if it means clashing with our one true queen, Cookie Lyons.
