Raven-Symoné Is Returning To Disney With “Raven’s Home.” Are You Here For It?

"I just had a vision!"

Raven is back with double the psychics—which means double the trouble.

That’s So Raven was a hit series on the Disney Channel when it premiered in 2003 and ran for four seasons, and 100 episodes. It was the number one show on the network and threw Raven-Symoné back in the TV spotlight.

Last year, Symoné announced that after two seasons, she was leaving her position as a co-host on The View to return to Disney to star in a That’s So Raven spinoff, Raven’s Home. Symoné will also serve as an executive producer.

The new series will again star Symoné as Raven Baxter, and Anneliese van der Pol as her best friend, Chelsea, who are now divorced single mothers raising their children in the same house. Their household was hectic enough and then Raven’s son Booker (Issac Ryan Brown) begins to show signs that he’s inherited psychic powers like his mother.

You don’t need a psychic vision to know that #RavensHome premieres in 4 days! ???

“There are clashing of visions, one trying to do something at the same time as the other one, and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen when they finally learn it,” Symoné told MTV News.

Raven’s Home premieres this Friday, July 21, on Disney Channel and the cable net has already released the opening credits—and we can confirm that the theme song—like the original’s—is a bop.

Back in 2014, Symoné revealed that she was in a relationship with a woman during an interview on Oprah: Where Are They Now? and even though at the time she didn’t want to label her sexuality, she said she was a lesbian last year on The View.

We are having a vision that if you were fan of That’s So Raven back in the day that you will be tuning in for the new spinoff when it airs this Friday on Disney Channel.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
