Remembering Cory Monteith: Finn Hudson's Greatest "Glee" Moments

The sudden passing of actor and LGBT ally Cory Monteith hit fans and Hollywood hard. Co-stars have expressed their sorrow and Gleeks are demanding a tribute episode when the show returns. Until that happens, we've gathered some of our fave moments of Monteith as Finn Hudson.

Throughout the first season of Glee, Finn was an on and off-again ally to Kurt. As a football quarterback, he found it easy to  pick on the Gleeks but Finn epically stood up for Kurt (his soon to be stepbrother) during the Gaga tribute episode—dressed in a red rubber dress, no less.

Finn would later fully accept Kurt as not only a friend, but a brother when their parent marry, vowed to always be by his side by singing "Just The Way You Are".

A true friend to all of the glee-club members, Finn even forgave Puck for knocking up Quinn. They had countless duets together, but we could never forget the amaze-balls performance of "It's My Life" / "Confessions Part II".

Finn was also a mentor of sorts to Artie, Sam and Blaine, and a coach for newcomers Unique, Ryder, and Marley (who was wracked with self pity for breaking up the gang:

Marley would return the favor by pushing Finn to become a teacher after his spat with Mr. Schuster. The two eventually recover from their rift, after a boy-band mashup of  "Bye Bye Bye" and "I Want It That Way":

Finn's romantic relationships were a bit more complex: First there was Quinn and their baby drama, when the 16-year-old jock manned up (through song, of course). Here he is singing "I'll Stand By You":

Then there was his brief encounter with Santana with a cover of Madonna's "Like A Virgin":

Despite the ups and downs, Finn and Rachel ended up together to the surprise of no one. Relive their great moments together  in a fan video below. (Prepare for tears):
