Rhode Island will officially become the 10th state to allow gay marriage this Thursday at 5:45 PM, something Governor Lincoln Chafee is so certain about, he is inviting his Twitter followers to the signing ceremony.
All are welcome to attend Thursday's planned #MarriageEquality signing ceremony. 5:45 PM, South Steps of the State House @riunited #RI4m

The only steps left for the Rhode Island bill are a vote in the House, who overwhelmingly passed an earlier version of the bill in January, and the Governor signing the bill into law.
Both of these events will happen Thursday, making New England the first section of the country where same-sex marriage is legal in every state.
