We all remember that movie that set off a queer lightbulb in our head. For Ricky Martin, that movie was Saturday Night Fever.

The out singer told Andy Cohen watching John Travolta strut his stuff in the 1970s disco classic set his gay heart aflutter.

"That underwear scene where he stands up, sits down and he... even puts it in order," recalls Martin on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live!. "I saw that movie back then like eight times and I didn’t know why."

We think we know why.

Cohen asked Martin if he ever told Travolta about this sexual awakening. "I’m sure we’ve met, but no, I never told him, 'You’re my first crush!'" he replied. Asked if he had a type, Martin said his fiance, Jwan Yosef, was his type. We can see the appeal.

On a side note, we have to wonder if, 20 years from now, a gay celebrity will reveal that seeing Ricky Martin in the "La Vida Loca" video made him realize he was gay.
