Rihanna's MAC Viva Glam Campaign Raised More Than $50 Million For AIDS Research

Pop star Rihanna has raised an astounding $50 million for the MAC AIDS Fund as one of the celebrity faces of MAC's Viva Glam campaign.

A tweet sent out by MAC confirmed RiRi's tally is the highest amount ever raised for the campaign in a single year:

Last year the "FourFiveSeconds" singer teamed up with MAC on red-frosted Viva Glam Rihanna Lipstick and MAC Viva Glam Rihanna Tinted Lipglass, and made a $2 million donation to the United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).

“I’m honored to join forces with the MAC AIDS Fund and UNAIDS in the fight against AIDS,” said Rihanna at the start of the campaign. “I want to help reach as many young people around the world as I can."

Rihanna's been good business for MAC: Last spring her RiRi Woo lipstick sold out after just three hours.
