Robbie Rogers has had one hell of a week: On Sunday, he and his teammates on the L.A. Galaxy won the Major League Soccer cup with a 2-1 victory over the New England Revolution. But by Tuesday, there were reports Rogers, the first out player in American soccer, had split from super-producer boyfriend Greg Berlanti.

Perez Hilton is reporting Rogers, 27, and Berlanti, 42, have broken up after 18 months together, though no official reason for the breakup was given. Hilton's source claims  the decision was mutual and the guys parted amicably.

“2014 was just such a big year for each of them, that they decided a friendship suited them both better,” said the source.

In addition to signing a multiyear contract extension with the Galaxy this year, and releasing his new memoir, Coming Out to Play, Rogers is working on a new sitcom based on his life. Last night he was the celebrity bartender on Watch What Happens Live, but the alleged didn't come up.

Berlanti, meanwhile, produces Arrow, The Flash and The Mysteries of Lauraand is gearing up to write for the upcoming Academy Awards telecast and create a new TV show based on the DC comics superhero Supergirl.

We're sure both guys are healing in their own way—and if either of them need a shoulder to cry on, we are absolutely definitely here for them.
