Robbie Rogers hasn't scored a major league goal in the two years since he came out and joined LA Galaxy. But now we know why he took so long. He was waiting for the right moment. His first goal, which helped the team beat Portland 5-0 and took them to third place in the Western Conference, was made on LA Galaxy's LGBT Pride Weekend.

One still hopes he found time to wear a glittery speedo later that weekend, but this was as good a way to celebrate as any. Congratulations, Robbie!
