Robert Pattinson Says He’ll Do Porn if His “Batman” Movie Flops

“But art house porn.”

Well, he knows how to suck.

Robert Pattinson is plugging his latest film, The Lighthouse, but everyone is curious about his take on the Caped Crusader in The Batman, which doesn't come out until summer 2021.

“I’m already remembering what it’s like to talk about a movie where there’s an expectation," he tells The Guardian, presumably referring to his role as sexy vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight series. "Whenever you say anything, people are like, ‘Argh! You idiot!’ Like, dude, I haven’t even started yet!"

"But there is no harsher critic of myself than myself, so I don’t need to worry about anyone else," the 33-year-old British actor clarifies.

So what will he do if the big-budget superhero flick isn't a success? “Porn,” he says, laughing. “But art house porn.” Classy!

Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman will also star Andy Serkis, Zoë Kravitz, Peter Sarsgaard, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, and Colin Farrell, who would all make excellent porn scene partners.

Pattinson, who had a high-profile relationship with queer Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, notably starred in the 2008 queer film Little Ashes.

The Batman will be released June 25, 2021.
