Robin Williams Is A Closeted Husband In The Trailer For "Boulevard," His Final Film

A new trailer is out for Robin Williams’ final film, Boulevard, in which the Oscar winner plays married but closeted Nashville bank manager Nolan Mack, who picks up a young gay hustler, Leo  (Roberto Aguire).

Instead of just paying Leo for his body, though, Nolan wants companionship—and a connection beyond the trap he considers his life.

“For me it was about letting go and holding on, the weird push and pulls of life, when it comes to anything from a job to a relationship—the thin line,” says director Dito Montiel (A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints).

The film has received positive reviews, with Variety's Peter Debruge writing Williams is “tapping into that same loneliness felt in One Hour Photo and Good Will Hunting, [and]  projects a regret so deep and identifiable, viewers should have no trouble connecting it to whatever is missing in their own lives,”

Watch the trailer below. Boulevard opens July 17.
