Legendary ’80s Duo Roxette Surprises Gay Couple By Sharing Their Lip Sync Video

It was a real "Joyride" for Jakub and David.

A gay couple from Poland is flying high this week after a video they made of themselves lip syncing to a Roxette song was shared by one of the members of the band.

The Swedish pop duo was responsible for massive hits like “Listen to Your Heart,” “Joyride,” and “It Must Have Been Love.”

Jakub and David recorded a lip sync to the band’s new song,”Some Other Summer,” on vacation and posted it to YouTube without giving it much more thought.

But when Roxette vocalist Per Gessle stumbled upon the video, he shared it on Facebook.

The boys were ecstatic over the shout out, which also meant a lot to the Polish LGBT community, as it is still facing discrimination. “Even the small things make us happy,” said one commenter of the video.
