RuPaul Channels Judy Garland in “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” Drag Number

Keep the Yuletide gay and go behind the scenes of "AJ and the Queen."

RuPaul is wishing you a Merry Christmas, Mary!

We can't think of a better way to ring in the holidays than watching Mutha Ru recreate one of the most classic Christmas scenes in movie history. In a new featurette for AJ and the Queen, Netflix takes us behind the scenes of the highly anticipated 10-episode hourlong dramedy from RuPaul and Michael Patrick King.

Ru even gives fans a sneak peek at some musical numbers from the drag-centric series, including one where the queen of queens channels Judy Garland, recreating the icon's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" number from Meet Me in St. Louis.

"The soundstage we're on is where Judy filmed her version of A Star Is Born," Ru says in the video. "This is a very special day for me because Judy means so much to me."

When the Emmy-winning Drag Race host is asked how much of Judy is she channeling, Ru responds, "I would just like to say Judy is inside of me right now." Renée Zellweger is shook!

In the previously released trailer we met Ruby Red (RuPaul), “a bigger-than-life but down-on-her-luck drag queen who travels across America from club to club in a rundown 1990s RV with her unlikely sidekick AJ (Izzy G), a recently orphaned, tough-talking, scrappy 11-year-old stowaway,” according to an official synopsis.

“As these two misfits, one tall, one small, travel from city to city, Ruby’s message of love and acceptance winds up touching people and changing their lives for the better. Oh, and RuPaul performs a killer musical number in every drag club.”

AJ and the Queen doesn't drop on Netflix until January 10, but this new video will help us muddle through somehow.
