RuPaul Is Serving It Up On OWN’s “Oprah: Where Are They Now”

RuPaul loves her some Oprah Winfrey—this is a known thing. One of the first challenges faced by Drag Race Season 1 queens was dolling up like Oprah and doing a celebrity interview. (Some met the challenge better than others.)

And now things have come full circle, as Ru appear’s on Sunday’s edition of Oprah: Where are They Now, an OWN series revisiting some of the favorite guests from the Oprah Winfrey Show’s 25-year-run.

Rupaul oprahIn the clip above, Ru recounts meeting Georges, a Midwestern rancher and his partner of 19 years, on the dance floor at New York’s infamous Limelight nightclub. Despite their unlikely first meeting, RuPaul declares “[Georges] is devoted to me, I am devoted to him. And that’s the end of the story.”

Awww.

And in a strange twist of synchronicity, Sunday’s episode also profiles Tori Spelling—who was the celebrity interviewee on that fateful episode of Drag Race. What a co-inky-dik!

Oprah: Where Are They Now airs Sunday, November 10, at 10pm ET on OWN.
