Why The "Drag Race" All Stars Love Halloween: "Finally, It's Okay For Children To Take Candy From Adults"

And who is dressing as Jason Voorhees this year?

This year drag queens are fearing for their lives during the Season of the Witch. Alaska is currently trying to survive a haunted mansion on Scared Famous, and other RuPaul's Drag Race girls are even trying to talk to the dead by hosting their own "gayance."

They aren't the only Drag Race contestants getting in the spirit. In a new video, the queens from All Stars 3 reveal all of the reasons why they love Halloween—and their answers range from the practical to the absurd.

"Halloween is important to the drag community because it's the one day of the year we don't have to be drag queens," explains Morgan McMichaels.

While Milk loves the holiday because "everyone can dress in drag, and no one can say anything about it."

Trixie Mattel thinks Halloween is like "Christmas for drag queens."

"I think on Halloween drag queens should be allowed to go out out of drag and that should be their costume."

She has a valid point. But what does a drag queen do if they want to dress up for Halloween but they don't want to dress in drag?

"This year I'm probably going to be Jason Voorhees," Trixie says, referring to a favorite of hers, the killer from the Friday the 13th series.

"A hockey mask and that's it—and a machete if anybody tries to give me any lip."

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 3 airs this winter on VH1.
