“The Great British Bake Off” Just Made An Amazing “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Pun

The reality show crossover we didn't know we kneaded.

Since The Great British Bake Off moved to Channel 4 from its original home on the BBC, fans have been weary to grow close to the new judges and hosts on the beloved reality competition series.

But a RuPaul’s Drag Race joke is a good way to warm up to viewers, judging from the reaction to the show’s latest episode.

It was Bread Week on The Great British Bake Off and when it came time for new hosts Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig to unveil the technical challenge to the set of bakers, they asked judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith to leave the tent.

“It’s alright, they’re going drag racing,” joked Fielding.

“It’s the ’Prue-Paul Drag Race,'” added Toksvig.

“That is the pun to end all puns,” noted Fielding as the bakers laughed at her witty wordplay.

Not only were the bakers impressed with the pun, but judging from Twitter, the viewers at home also love a good Drag Race joke:
