“Drag Race” Season 11 Queens Cast Themselves in “Trump: The Rusical”

"Yvie looks like the Crypt Keeper so she had to be Kellyanne Conway."

RuPaul’s Drag Race has never shied away from being political, and that has never been more true in this week’s episode where the girls are tasked with performing in Trump: The Rusical.

In a new clip from the episode Ru reveals that for this week’s mini-challenge the queens have to get into quick drag and transform themselves into Ru’s favorite cable news host, Rachel Maddow. The MSNBC personality even has a special message for the crop of queens who are attempting to deliver some breaking news on air.

“For this week’s maxi challenge you will be putting a political twist on my favorite high school musical, Grease, in the lip sync extravaganza, Trump: The Rusical,” Ru tells the queens, before explaining each of them will “be playing an important woman from Trump’s inner circle.”

Since Scarlet Envy won the Maddow challenge, she’s in charge of casting the musical. Who will play Omarosa? What about Kelly Anne Conway and who will step into Oprah’s shoes? Find out in the first segment from the new episode below.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11 airs Thursdays at 9/8c on VH1.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
