Watch the First Lip Sync for Your Life From "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 13

Who will get "the Pork Chop?"

If you have watched any of the Before She Walks In videos, then you know that the queens are a wig of nerves before they click-clack into that workroom for the first time on RuPaul's Drag Race.

As if that grand entrance weren't stressful enough, imagine if you didn't even have time to take in all of the pink bricks before you were whisked away to lip sync for your life in front of Ru and the judges. That's exactly what happens in the Season 13 premiere when the first two queens — Kandy Muse and Joey Jay — barely get a chance to kiki before Mama Ru summons them to the mainstage.

"Your charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent got you here, let's see what you can do with it," Ru tells Kandy and Joey as they prepare to battle it out to the God-tier bop that is "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen. Whoever loses the lip-sync gets "the Pork Chop," named after Victoria "Porkchop" Parker, the legendary queen who made herstory by being the first girl to ever sashay away on the first season of Drag Race.

And they aren't the only queens who are immediately asked to fight for their lives. As RuVealed in the Season 13 trailer, there are multiple lip-sync surprises in store for the new crop of queens.

In case you need a RuFresher, the 13 girls who will have you gagging this season are Denali, Elliott with 2 Ts, Gottmik, Joey Jay, Kahmora Hall, Kandy Muse, Lala Bi, Olivia Lux, Rosé, Symone, Tamisha Iman, Tina Burner, and Utica Queen.

“Competing safely and fiercely, our 13 queens proved that it takes more than a global pandemic to keep a good queen down,” RuPaul said in a statement, referencing how the season was filmed following strict COVID-19 health and safety guidelines. Are we the only ones digging the new plexiglass barriers? Please welcome to the stage... Lexi Glass!
