And the Winner of "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 13 Is...

MAJOR SPOILERS, SQUIRREL FRIENDS!

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

And just like that, another chapter of Drag Race herstory has come to a close with the crowning of the RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13 winner.

With 16 episodes, this season of Drag Race was its biggest yet, but it also made television history by being one of the first productions to come back after the COVID-19 pandemic sent the world into lockdown. After last year's living room lip-sync extravaganza, this year the finale returned for an IRL event — complete with an ecstatic drive-in audience. The finale was dedicated to the power of friendship, which is appropriate because the final four queens — Gottmik, Kandy Muse, Rosé, and Symone — are a tight bunch.

For this year's finale, the queens were tasked with the extra challenge of creating opulent looks for a trio of eleganza balls. Ru then sat down with each of the top four, asking about their drag journey, and showed them special video messages from their loving family members — and of course, a Drag Race finale would not be complete without some special celeb cameos. This year we were treated to video messages from Paris Hilton and Ru's cousin, Senator Cory Booker.

After a Bette Midler lip-sync and an emotional tribute to our beloved Season 8 queen Chi Chi DeVayne it was time for the lip-sync smackdown for the crown. The Britney Spears-themed lip-syncs started off with Rosé vs. Kandy Muse. Kandy was victorious, as then it was Symone up against Gottmik. Symone won out over Mik, Leaving Kandy and Symone to lip-sync for the crown.

Before the final battle royalé, last year's Miss Congeniality made a special appearance to crown this season's Miss Congeniality, LaLa Ri. Season 12 winner Jaida Essence Hall graced the stage to offer some advice to America's next drag superstar, and then it was time for the final lip-sync, "'Till the World Ends." Kandy and Symone each served gag-worthy reveals and fierce moves, but after it was all over Ru crowned Symone the winner of Season 13.

Condragulations, queen! And thank you for a truly sickening season!
