Season 8 Queens—And Bianca Del Rio—Hit New York For The “Drag Race” Premiere Party

The new queens made their first public appearance as a group at the sickening soiree.

The Big Apple turned into the main stage last night when Stage 48 hosted the New York premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8.

Gothamites got their first in-the-flesh look at 12 sickening queens: Acid Betty, Bob The Drag Queen, Chi Chi Davayne, Chi Chi DeVayne, Cynthia Lee Fontaine, Dax Exclamationpoint, Derrick Barry, Kim Chi, Laila McQueen, Naomi Smalls, Naysha Lopez, Robbie Turner and Thorgy Thor.

Season 6 winner Bianca Del Rio took to the stage to introduce the queens (and throw a little signature shade), and play a trivia game with audience members. In the crowd (though not playing trivia) were veteran Drag Racers Milk, Jiggly Caliente and Mrs. Kasha Davis, plus Younger stars Nico Tortarella, Dan Amboyer and Molly Bernard.

The premiere event doubled as a screening party for Episode One.

And then each queen took the stage and showed why she is in the running for America’s Next Drag Superstar.
