Your First Look At The Lip Sync Smackdown From The “Drag Race” Season 9 Finale

A night for the herstory books.

RuPaul stunned Drag Race fans Friday night when he announced at the end of the Season 9 reunion that for the first time, a live lip sync would determine this year’s winner.

By the spinning of a wheel the Sudden Death Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown will split the final four queens forcing each of the duos to lip sync for their life. The winners then battling it out against one another and whoever is left standing will be crowned America’s next drag superstar.

In a new sneak peek of this week’s finale, RuPaul serves some Vanna White Wheel of Fortune realness as she spins the giant wheel onstage to determine which queens will lip sync against each other.

Over the course of Season 9 all of these girls—except Sasha—have proven they are lip sync masters so who will be left standing once the dust has settled? Find out for yourself during the Drag Race grand finale this Friday.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 9 finale airs Friday at 8/7c on VH1.
