"RuPaul's Drag Race" Finale Recap: Bob The Drag Queen Spills The T On The Reunion And Season 9 Winner

"Bitch performed."

Dethroned queens don't always go quietly.

In a very special new episode of The Pit Stop, RuPaul's Drag Race season 8 winner Bob the Drag Queen, whose reign as America's Next Drag Superstar ended last night, sits down with his superfan assistant, Luis, to break down what he calls "the most turnt-up finale ever."

Bob and Luis toot and boot some of the finale's most memorable runway looks, including those of newly crowned winner Sasha Velour. "She really looked like royalty," says Bob, singling out her "fashion doily" fantasy moment.

But how much did Sasha's ultimate victory depend on the finale's epic lip-sync battles? "I think what it says is RuPaul’s Drag Race is a performance-based show," Bob says. "Bitch performed."

The duo also discusses whether or not Peppermint’s success in the competition signals a closer relationship between the drag and trans communities. “It’s not new, we’re not going to a new era, people are just aware of it now," Bob says.

What’s the one thing Shea Coulée can’t do? How does Trinity Taylor’s tuck look in person? Why was last week's Valentina-shading reunion episode so damn entertaining? Find out in the season finale of The Pit Stop below.
