“RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K.” Announces More Celebrity Guest Judges

This English tea is piping hot!

We all breathed a sigh of relief when it was confirmed that Michelle Visage would be joining Ru behind the judges’ table on RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. But it has also been revealed that Drag Race’s other two judgy Judies, Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews, will not be jumping the pond.

Replacing Carson and Ross will be two British television icons, Graham Norton and Alan Carr; Graham hosts the long-running Graham Norton Show, and Alan hosted the late-night series Chatty Man from 2009 to 2016. For Drag Race U.K., Graham and Alan will rotate as resident judges—like Carson and Ross do for the U.S. version—and then both appear on the finale.

More celebrities have recently been announced as guest judges for the international edition of the competition series. Scroll through below to see who will be joining Ru and squirrel friends behind the judges’ table.

  1. Maisie Williams

Williams, who played Arya Stark on Game of Thrones, has been confirmed as the first extra special guest judge. “What I love the most about drag is the story of the drag queen behind the facade,” Maisie said about her upcoming trip to the Drag Race mainstage. “I think that so much of drag comes from a place of real pain and seeing how that transforms into a character is so interesting to me. I love that about art and about drag.”

  2. Geri Horner

“I just love how drag encourages people to be exactly who they are,” said the Spice Girls singer in a statement. “This show has brought so much joy and pride to people all over the world, I can’t wait for everyone to see the amazing queens representing the U.K. in this first ever series.”

  3. Jade Thirlwell

“I love absolutely everything about drag,” said the Little Mix member and Drag Race superfan. “I love that it’s art. I love how fabulous it is, how fun it is… I just wish in my next life I can be a drag queen.”

  4. Michaela Coel

“I love that you have to dare, you have to dare and drop all of your social norms and restraints you have been taught and you have to dare to embody something higher,” said the Chewing Gum star.

  5. Andrew Garfield

The self-proclaimed Drag Race aficionado has already lip synced for his life with the Drag Race girls, and now he’ll be critiquing queens from behind the judges’ table.

  6. Cheryl

The former Girls Aloud member has been blowing up the charts with her latest single, “Let You.” Hopefully this means a Girls Aloud lip sync for your life?

  7. Twiggy

The iconic model is bringing London’s swingin’ ’60s scene to the runway. “You see the most gorgeous women in the most glamorous outfits,” she said of Drag Race’s appeal. “I love the creativity of the clothes and the makeup.”

Ru and Michelle spoke about Drag Race U.K. on a recent episode of their podcast, What’s the Tee?, with Ru teasing that fans “are going to flip” when they see it. “I predict we will be doing this English edition of Drag Race for many years to come.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. is scheduled to premiere this fall on BBC Three.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
