Jessie Ware to Steal the "Spotlight" on "RuPaul's Drag Race U.K." Season 2

She'll be asking the queens, "What's your pleasure?"

We already know that Michelle Visage, Graham Norton, and Alan Carr will be returning to the judges panel for Season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race U.K. Ahead of the January 14 premiere, more news has dropped, including the names of the queens who will be competing this season — and the sassy celebrity guest judges tapped to critique them.

WOW/BBC Three

Jordan Dunn, Elizabeth Hurley, Lorraine Kelly, MNEK, and Sheridan Smith were previously announced as judges, and now Dawn French, Maya Jama, and Jessie Ware have all been confirmed for the new season. Natalie Cassidy, Jodie Harsh, Drag Race legend Raven, and Jay Revell will also be making "extra special cameos."

"Dreams do come true!!!!! Had such a great time with them. The Queens are🔥 🔥 🔥 you're going to LOVE them," Ware tweeted after the Drag Race U.K. Twitter account broke the news.

We would like to think that we played a small role in getting the British songstress next to Ru and Michelle. When she spoke to NewNowNext back in July, Ware said she was "slightly perplexed" as to why she hadn't been asked to guest judge on the show.

"I am such a big fan and I’m waiting for that fucking call," she joked. "No, more than that, I don’t want to just be a judge: I want to be a frigging synching sing-offs bit [lip sync for your life]. That’s what I want. The queens either have to do “Save a Kiss” or 'Spotlight' or 'What’s Your Pleasure.' I mean, imagine! That would be incredible!"

It looks like she got her wish! And hopefully the queens will be lip-syncing to one of the many bangers off her latest album, What's Your Pleasure?.

If you need a RuFresher, the 12 queens competing on the new season of Drag Race U.K. are Tayce, Lawrence Chaney, Cherry Valentine, Tia Kofi, Bimini Bon Boulash, Ginny Lemon, Veronica Green, Sister Sister, Joe Black, Ellie Diamond, Asttina Mandella, and A’Whora.

“Looking forward to better days! I’m happy to announce the triumphant return of RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. Early in 2021, Season 2 will arrive with all the hope, joy, laughter and glitter you’ve come to expect from our brilliant queens,” said Mama Ru in a previous statement announcing the renewal of Drag Race U.K. for Seasons 2 and 3.

RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. premieres January 14 on the BBC Three iPlayer. Fans in the U.S. can catch it the same day on WOW Presents Plus at 2pm ET/11am PT.
