It’s been a big week for RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. news. Not only do we know the premiere date — January 14, henny! — but now, we know which queens will be stomping into the workroom on the first episode.
This morning, the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. Season 2 was announced. The 12 queens competing for the coveted title of the U.K’s Next Drag Superstar are Tayce, Lawrence Chaney, Cherry Valentine, Tia Kofi, Bimini Bon Boulash, Ginny Lemon, Veronica Green, Sister Sister, Joe Black, Ellie Diamond, Asttina Mandella, and A’Whora.
The Vivienne was crowned the U.K’s First Drag Superstar on the Season 1 finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K., so we can’t wait to see which fierce queen the scepter will be passed to this year. Plus, we’re excited for the return of last season’s must-have accessory: the Ru Peter Badge!
“Looking forward to better days! I’m happy to announce the triumphant return of RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. Early in 2021, Season 2 will arrive with all the hope, joy, laughter and glitter you’ve come to expect from our brilliant queens,” said Mama Ru in a previous statement announcing the renewal of Drag Race U.K. for Seasons 2 and 3.
