Russell Tovey has taken full responsibility for the dizzying side effects his arms and abs are known to cause, and apologized to the male theatergoer he caused to faint during a recent performance on Broadway.

Page Six previously reported that the Saturday, Jan. 30 performance of A View From The Bridge came to a screeching halt when the man, who was seated on risers in an onstage audience section, abruptly fainted during a scene where Tovey takes off his shirt to reveal the solid goodness underneath:

Three doctors in the audience ran to the man's aid and he was eventually taken to the hospital, where he tweeted an apology to Tovey for "disrupting the show":

Speaking with Heat magazine about the incident this week, Tovey said: "On behalf of my arms and nipples, I feel the need to publicly apologise for the effects felt by one of our audience members on a dark winter night in New York City."

Word on the street has it that Tovey "passionately kisses" fellow actor Mark Strong in one of the show's more titillating scenes, so know that you have been warned.
