Russia's treatment of its LGBT citizens and how the global community should respond is the subject of great debate.

On Tuesday, September 11, NewNowNext hosted Logo Town Hall: Russia vs. The Gays, a one-hour, live-stream discussion presented in conjunction with AllOut.org. Exploring Russia's gay "propaganda" law and feelings about the upcoming Sochi Games, the show was moderated by out sportscaster Jared Max, Logo Town Hall: Russia vs. The Gays  includes openly gay Olympic diver Greg Louganis, All Out co-founder Andre Banks, Nina Long of RUSA LGBT and Roman Mamonov, a Russian journalist who moved from Moscow to New York nine months ago and is applying for asylum.
