Team U.S.A. swimmer Ryan Lochte is sporting an interesting new hair color in Rio this week, and we sure hope it'll help him bring home another gold medal to add to his collection.

The 31-year-old two-time Olympian, who boasts an impressive 11 Olymipc medals — five gold, three silver, and three bronze — debuted his new ice blue locks on Instagram this week.

"New look.... Here We Go #Rio #2016" he wrote, posting a photo of the dyeing process as well as the finished product.

Lochte is a natural brunet but you wouldn't be able to tell now that he's dyed the hair on his head!

Back in 2013, Lochte revealed that he stays fast in the pool by shaving literally every inch of his body — a daunting task that can take up to five hours.
