Ryan Lochte, the U.S. Olympic swimmer everyone wants to, er, hug, might have a girlfriend. And not just any girlfriend, singer K. Michelle from Love & Hip Hop.
The always-trusty Internet started speculating whether K. Michelle was dating Ryan when she called him her “pooh” on Twitter. “OK ITS GOING DOWN THE 2012 OLYMPICS JUST STARTED AND MY POOH @ryanlochte IS ABOUT TO KICK ASS. SO PROUD OF U. LUV YA,” she tweeted. “And let the whip ass begin @ryanlochte wins his first gold medal . I’m so f**kin proud of u!!!!!”
Need more evidence? A video surfaced of K. Michelle saying she was dating a white guy who is a swimmer, and new pics of the duo together hit the web.
But K. Michelle wants to clarify that she and Ryan are just friends and the video was from an old interview. She took to Twitter again to confirm Ryan isn’t her BF. “This is so out the blue and old news. I am single. I have friends and I support their endeavors! #carryon”
So out of the blue! Surely has nothing to do with her upcoming single “Kiss My A**” being released soon.
And in case you were concerned you’d never have the opportunity to sleep with Ryan, his mom gave us all hope by explaining how social Ryan can be. “He goes out on one-night stands,” Ike Lochte said. “He’s not able to give fully to a relationship because he’s always on the go.”
