We already know Season 4 will be set in the 1950s and that Jessica Lange is working on her German accent. But Ryan Murphy sat down with Entertainment Weekly again and dropped a few more hints about what's next.

Here's what he revealed:

  • Circus isn't happening:  "I saw those posters. I don’t know where people came up with that idea. Sometimes I think its people wanting us to do topics and doing fan posters."
  • No one has guessed the actual theme yet.
  • Murphy already has Season 4 and 5 in his head: "I have the next two seasons plotted out, and I like both of them."
  • Season 4 won't just take place in the '50s: "It’s a combination of two time periods, with the main one being the 1950s. I don’t know."
  • Season 4 will have funny moments, like Coven: "My feeling is, if you loved this season, you’ll love next season. It has the same sort of comedic tone to it."
  • Season 5 will be "a radically different idea from the stuff we’ve been doing." Well, yeah, no Jessica Lange!
