Super-Foxy Ryan Phillippe Recounts Breaking Into Nordstrom To Rearrange Furniture

Ryan Phillippe is an under-the-radar sex god: Besides his heavenly Instagram, he's appearing on ABC's Secrets & Lies as murder suspect attempting to clear his name. (ooh, very Gone Girl.)

The still-a-heartthrob 40-year-old sat down with Jimmy Kimmel this week to chat about the show, and recalled his days as a juvenile delinquent with actor pals Seth Green and Breckin Meyer.

We were really obsessed with light vandalism. There used to be a Kong Video on Ventura Blvd that had a giant King Kong on top of it. We had an obsession with unplugging inflatables on top of buildings. We would find ladders and things and go on top of these buildings and unplug inflatables.

We also broke into the Sherman Oaks Galleria. We didn't steal anything–We'd go into the Nordstrom and rearrange furniture. Or you know how every mall has the giant Christmas display or a massive Easter bunny? We would find those and take weird pictures with them.

Most of the hijinks they got up to were harmless, but sometimes professional jealousy fanned the flames:

The only time there was a little bit of an aggressive streak to it was if we'd lose a job and there was promotion for that movie," he recalls. "We may have removed a bus stop poster or two or unscrewed some lights on a billboard.
